Membership Requirements
I) Students must have a 3.0 Cumulative GPA and 3.0 Science GPA.
II) Students must get 3 points a semester. At least 1 point must be from a social event.

III) Students must have a major or minor* in the fields of biological sciences including but not limited to:

Allied Services
-
Animal, Dairy, and Poultry Sciences

Biological Sciences
-
Biological Engineering
-
Biochemistry
-
Coastal Environmental Sciences
-
Kinesiology
-
Microbiology
-
Nutrition and Food Sciences
-
Plant and Soil Systems
-
Renewable Natural Resources
IV) Students are expected to pay a one-time membership fee of $80. This includes:

Tri Beta induction certificate and membership card
-
Two Tri Beta decals
-
Tri Beta keychain
-
Honor cord for graduation
-
Local chapter fees applied towards basic usage for meetings and planned activities
V) Members are required to meet the point requirements listed above to keep active status. Those who do not meet the requirement will become inactive until it is met the following semester. One inactive semester is allowed, but extenuating circumstances will be taken under consideration.
